I popped in to lingfield art last night and had a look around, which had its usual colourful charm. The best in show for me was Sheri Gee ’s Horse ( I got this image from her web site I think it is the same picture even if it is not quite finished) I love her confident and direct brush work. Have a look at her other stuff at http://sherigee.com/ or indeed pop into the lingfield art show today or tomorrow.
I really love the feel of the light with this one. Check out his oy2 Gallery page
Is it a bird. Is it a plane. No. Its an Oyster Car !!!
Sadly the spitfire went to it’s final resting place, and we now have a very smart but small Panda no doubt you will see it around .
Many thanks to The Sign Co. Who did a fantastic job.
After being given my wife’s first pair of shoes by my mother in law soon after our first child was born, I thought what on earth am I going to do with them. After being moved around my workshop for a number of months I decided to frame them. They have been much admired ever since, and I have now framed many pairs for client from wellies to ballet shoes.
This pair I framed a little while ago for a client. They were so out of shape we stuffed them with very old newspaper, which really added to the look of the old shoes.
I have new pictures on my walls, 4 John Scarlands, 1 oil and 3 Charcoals. Please go to the oy2 Gallery to have a look.
