New WordPress Blog

Well here is my new word press blog and I hope to develop this theme to become my home page with links of to my artists pages. This is my first post so would like to put a picture up to see how it works

What’s in a name

Everyone asks me why Oyster. I normally mumble it’s a long story or it’s just a good memorable name which of course it is but the word works on so many different levels. The connection with luxury champagne and oysters not to mention a little sexy with its aphrodisiac connections. Its all starting to look like quite a good name. Then we come to the rather cheesy bit thats it the perl, that precious perl all encased by the oyster a little like your precious picture being framed to protect it.
